Features
Messages and Discord
Steam DM auto-reply and forwarding Steam traffic into Discord DMs.
Both options are optional and set per Steam account under /gui → Config.
Steam DM auto-reply
What it does: When someone sends you a private message on Steam, the bot can automatically send back your chosen text (once per conversation rules the bot applies).
Why use it: Let people know you’re away, link a Discord, or send a short canned response without opening Steam.
Message forwarding
What it does: Steam direct messages (and related notices) can be copied into your Discord DMs so you read and sometimes reply from Discord instead of the Steam client.
What to expect:
- You may get embeds in Discord for ongoing chats; the bot may update one embed or start a new one depending on how you reply.
- After a bot restart, an old thread might need a moment to reconnect—if something looks stuck, try opening
/guiagain or check with your host.
Forwarding crosses Steam ↔ Discord; only use it if you trust the bot and host—see Security.
