Boosting and display
Hour boosting, custom “now playing” text, live Discord activity, and how they interact with card idling.
Hour boosting — what it actually does
Hour boosting means the bot keeps your Steam account logged in and reporting playtime for the games you chose, so your hours on record go up over time (while the bot is running and boosting is started for that account).
- Turn it on or off under
/gui→ Accounts for each linked Steam login. - The bot runs Steam sessions in the background (see Steam Guard and safety for a short note on how that works).
This does not replace playing the game yourself for gameplay—it only affects Steam’s “time played” style stats the way idle/boost tools do.
Custom “now playing” text
You can show a custom line on Steam instead of a real game name (configured per account in Config).
If you use card idling too: the bot tries to keep showing your custom text instead of mixing in extra game names. Details: Card idling.
The bot’s status on Discord
Separately, the Discord bot can show live activity (for example how many accounts are boosting), if the host enabled that. That’s the bot’s profile, not your Steam profile.
